Stephanie Maybee, Vice President

Hello everyone!

My name is Stephanie Maybee. I am the Vice President of the Residence Hall Association. I hail from Abilene, TX. My major is in Business Management and my minor is in Hospitality Administration, concentrating in Event Planning. I transferred to SFASU in the Fall of 2010 from Cisco College . I am a senior here at SFA! When I came to SFA I quickly got involved with RHA. I was the Todd Hall Council Secretary for the Fall of 2010 and then the President for the Spring of 2012. I enjoyed it so much that I ran for the position I hold now. I am also a member of the Gamma Kappa Omega Service Sorority here on campus. I was told I need to have an interesting fact about myself… I guess it would be interesting to know that I was born on Moody Air force Base in Valdosta, Georgia, then lived in Germany for four years, and then finally made it to Texas just in time for Kindergarten. Well that’s all for now.

Gennie Lynn, RHA Adviser/ NRHH Adviser

Howdy! As the Program Coordinator for Residence Life, I help develop and implement living learning programs which aid in retention and student success.  I also have the honor of co-advising RHA and NRHH here at SFA.  I have been here at SFA for almost two years and I have loved being back in Texas! Originally from College Station, I spent the previous 5 years at the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, Oklahoma as the Area Coordinator.  During my time at TU, I served as the Regional Advisor for SWACURH from 2007-2009.  I graduated from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas, with a Bachelor of Science in English and Journalism.  I found RHA while I was in graduate school at Texas A&M University where I received a Master’s of Science in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education and it was love at first sight! Since 2004, I have attended and presented at numerous conferences across the country relating to RHA.  I am currently working on my doctorate here at SFA in Educational Leadership in order to further develop student leaders across campus.  My office is located in the Steen Hall lobby…just look for the ducks!

Bridgit Breslow,RHA Adviser

Hello! In addition to co-advising RHA, I currently serve as an Area Coordinator for Residence Life over the following halls: Steen, Hall 14, Kerr, and Lumberjack Landing. I came to SFA in November 2010 and previously served as a co-advisor for NRHH (National Residence Hall Honorary). Prior to serving Residence Life at SFA, I spent 3.5 years as a Hall Director at Texas Christian University, where I helped start as well as advise the TCU chapter of NRHH and served as the RHA advisor and advisor to the 2010 SWACURH Conference hosted at TCU. I first got involved in NRHH and Hall Council as an undergraduate student at The University of Texas at Austin, where I graduated with a B.A. in English and Psychology. I received my Masters of Science from Iowa State University in Higher Education Administration with an emphasis in Student Affairs. I am  passionate about working with student leaders and hope to meet as many SFA students as possible! My office is located in Lumberjack Landing - stop on by!
